Sorry I have not been able to post our prayers for our children the last few days! Time is getting away from me with my neck surgery on Friday. I've got a doctor's appointment tomorrow and a pre-op at the Hospital on Thursday and then I'll be out of commission for a while. So, I've decided to post the rest of the month with the topics and the bible verses.
Day 16 - Peace & Peaceability ~ Romans 14:19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.
Day 17 - Hope ~ Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Day 18 - Perseverance ~ Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Day 19 - Humility ~ Titus 3:2 to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.
Day 20 - Compassion ~ Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Day 21 - Prayerfulness ~ Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
Day 22 - Contentment ~ Philippians 4:12-13 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
Day 23 - Faith (Two Verses) ~
Luke 17:5-6 The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!" 6 He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you.
Hebrews 11:1-40 This is not a typo. It's a long one, so take the time to look it up and read it.
Day 24 - A Servant Heart ~ Ephesians 6:7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men
Day 25 - Purity ~ Psalm 51:10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Day 26 - Willingness & Ability to Work Hard ~ Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men
Day 27 - Self-Discipline ~ Proverbs 1:3 for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair;
Day 28 - Heart for Missions ~ Psalm 96:3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
Day 29 - Joy ~ I Thessalonians 1:6 You became imitators of us and of the Lord; in spite of severe suffering, you welcomed the message with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.
Day 30 - Courage ~ Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
Day 31 - Obedience ~ Hebrews 13:17 Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.
